Mike Trout is older, and spent two whole seasons in minor leagues. They both are projected the be stars within the next five years though.

come on now. you make very intelligent posts 99% of the time but lets not get crazy here. I believe he is only a few months older. Trout is 20.

Mike is 1.2 years older than Bryce. Though not drastic, Mike has spent more time developing in minors.

Trout's ceiling is just as high as Harper's.

Stretches singles into doubles, steals @ a high rate, and with 5Hr's in 109AB's its safe to say he has power.

I would say the only thing Trout does not have, that Harper possess is an unreal arm. but outside of the top flight pitchers neither does the rest of the league. Oh yeah Rick Ankeil/Jeff Francour but that's it.

If he does well Wash will be very tough and be a major threat to go to WS

Yeah Harper has a fukking cannon. Both are going to be future stars, its just a matter of time. Think Harper has slight edge from what I have seen so far, but very slight.

trout doesn't have the power ceiling that harper has but is faster and if trout can stay at center as his body matures, he will be more valuable.

Trout had a 143 at bats though last season so this isn't really a fair comparison

Harper has unbelievable upside though. An .890 OPS in his first season in the league is simply magnificent. He could be the next Josh Hamilton really
