Leyland has 5 lefties in the lineup today. Miggy hits Masterson well. Masterson is a ground ball pitcher but he has also had command issues this year having issued 5+ walks three times already. Leyland has been preaching patience of late, we may see a few runners on base early for the Tigs.
I would have like Cleveland's chances more with their patent all lefty lineup but an injury to Hafner in last nights game, the continued unavailability of Jack Hanrahan and the day game forcing Marson instead of Santana (who will DH); leave 3 righties in the lineup. Several Indians batters, Damon, Brantley, Lopez, Kotchman have extemely low strikeout rates against Verlander. We may see a bit more contact than usual in this one off Verlander. I am not seeing one of those 14 K games from him. We might see a few innings from the shit Tiger bully here as Leyland is trying not to go crazy this year. Verlander off two low pitch count games may fool me on this though. If the Indians can make him grind a bit and I think they may, the bullpen is shit against lefties.
Wind blowing straight out to left today and forecast to do so full game. 7 is the number and I think we may see a few runs here.
I am gonna have a go at Detroit -.5 first five -114 and the game total over 7 +104.
Probably too much info for this thread but what the fuk.
Good luck gents.
