The Devil Rays and Blue Jays open a series tonight in Toronto, and there should be no shortage of offense in this one.

We are going to make a play on tonight's Tampa Bay/Toronto game to go over the total for several reasons.

Blue Jays' starter Roy Halladay is one of the best starters in the game, but he was struck in the elbow of his pitching arm last Sunday in Anaheim and came out of the game in the first inning. There was some hesitation about him making tonight's start and we expect him to be a notch or two below his normal dominating self.

The Devil Rays' have been hitting the ball well of late, averaging 5.7 runs/game their last six against two of the better pitching staffs in the AL, the A's and the Yankees.

Tampa Bay starts journeyman RHP Jay Seo who is having an absolutely miserable season. He is 3-11 with an ERA or 5.20 that baloons even higher when pitching on the road. Toronto averages 5.6 runs/game at home this season and should torch Seo. Tampa Bay has gone over the total in 6-straight.

    Play: Tam-Tor Over 8½

Sea has been getting lit up so I can see Toronto hammering Tampa Bay tonight. The only question is will Tampa hit Halladay tonight.
