Something about him you just have to like, whatever side your on.... still seems sharp... paints a great picture.....

agree 100%. one of the reason that i love having MLB.tv is to listen to him do Dodgers games on Sunday afternoons. so relaxing.

An American Classic! Guy is just beyond compare. To think some teams have 3 guys in the booth, and ole' Vin carries the show by himself. Always has interesting anecdotes about the players too.

Vin is an American institution.....it will be sad to see him go. He's not a novelty like Harry Carey was at the end...Vin is still a sharp announcer.
