    Wednesday picks (146-145 -.42)

    YTD should read 146-145 -3.25

What a disastrous run I have been on, right when I decided to kick up my unit sizes. Nice. I was just up over 20 units less than few days ago but combine progressive betting systems and poor handicapping and goodbye baseball winnings. Hopefully I can finish this month in the black.

    Rangers -1 -167 risk 5.01

    Rangers -1.5 +105 risk 2

    Rangers tt o5 -115 risk 1.15

The Rangers on a little bit of a bad run here, they lost their second straight last night but Colby Lewis really didnt give them much of a chance to win last night. I should have looked at the yesterdays game and who was available for relief, the Rangers were stretched thin in the bullpen yesterday and needed at least 6 inning from a guy who was just didnt have it yesterday.

The A's are surprisingly only 4 games behind the Rangers and are playing good ball going 8-4 in their last 12 but this should be a good chance for the Rangers here to open up a bigger lead in the West against a team they have dominated int he past. The Rangers send out Darvish (5-1,2.84 ERA) who has been pretty impressive even under pressure with men on base. He has looked really sharp at home going 3-0 and I personally think he is the best pitcher in this rotation. He should improve those numbers today facing the A's who are one of the poorer hitting teams in the majors.

The A's are sending out Milone and while his numbers look impressive , on the road its been a different story. He is 3-0 at home with an incredible .39 ERA at home but he has been shelled on the road. He got lit up for 5 runs against Tampa though he did get the decision, 7 runs in a losing decision at Boston and 4 runs in a loss at Seattle. He has basically had one decent outing on the road against the Angels and they still hit him pretty well, Milone gave up 7hits in 5 innings of work but the Angels just stranded alot of runners in that one and he did get the decision in that one.

Arlington is a tough park for pitchers especially if you have a tendency to get flyballs, and this a tough assignment for a young pitcher and the A's without Cespedes, especially facing a Rangers team just off getting swept at home. Hopefully Rangers pitching will give the the Rangers bats a chance to take this one.
