Sore Thumb Team Total: May 15th

Red Sox Team Total Over 5 [-120]
Beaven coming in off some extra rest due to taking a line drive off his elbow in his last start. He's had one solid start in his home state at Texas to start the season and then allowed at least three runs in four straight before his shortened three inning stint against Detroit. Seattle has now given up six runs in four of their last six overall. Boston has busted out the whooping sticks with six runs or more in three of their last four overall. Beavan faced the BoSox twice in 2011, giving up three runs in one start @ Fenway and six in the other @ Safeco. He gave up 20 hits in 12.1 IP in those starts, so he was constantly battling base runners. The 2-4 bats for Boston have done some damage against Beavan with Pedroia, Gonzalez and Ortiz all recording multiple hits against him last years. Not a big track record, but some success and a hot offense, so Let's get one for the thumb.

Got the push. Thought it was going to finish @ 4, so the push feels pretty good.
