    The Padres are the play tonight in Cincinnati against the Reds.

    Two teams on the verge of the playoffs meet up in this one.

    The Padres are playing well having won seven of their last 10 and currently hold the wildcard spot. Chris Young is 10-5 this season and the Padres are 16-11 in games he's started. San Diego has won his last three starts.

    The Reds are 4-6 in their last 10 and are falling behind too many teams in the playoff race. The Red has lost Eric Milton's last two starts. This season the Reds have lost two of three to the Padres.

    This will be a close game but the Padres are playing better and will take this one.

    I'd take the Padres myself tonight.

    For all essential purposes the reds are done in this wild card race, and I feel they are starting to know that as the season gets shorter. Not to mention there that big time slide there on right now doesn't help there chances either.
