just need a good cutter like mariano rivera, why is that so rare? fastball has to have some fukking movement. none of these guys throw strikes until they have to, it's so predictable, they are so arrogant hoping the hitter will swing at their crappy sinker, and they fool nobody and get themselves in a 3-1 count in no time.

just get guys who can master the CUTTER

the hitter knows it's coming, swings away, and can't hit it, the hitter is on the defense, scared.

Look at the late innings "close" stats and save yourself the ulcers you have been getting. find a good price on the first 5 studs and play those. Pitchers who elevate pitch counts a lot by the 4th or 5th inning drive me nuts as well. We all know those types of guys.
