    MLB Totals

    Quick question when capping MLB totals. How exactly does Vegas set the total number? Just so I can get an idea of how to come up with my own line to compare to theirs. Any input would help, thanks!

    make your own line before looking at vegas' line, then bet accordingly if there's value vs. your line

    Yea I understand that. I'm just confused as to what stats to really focus on when determining my own line. Ive never been good at capping totals in any sports really cause the lines I come up with are never close so I'm clearly not doin it right. Whereas when I make my lines on sides and I come to the exact point sometimes
