Please give me your opinion on these 5 games

Rangers (Lewis) @ Detroit (Smyly) 1:35pm

    Dodgers (Billingsley) @ Astros ( Rodriguez) 2:05pm

Rockies (Guthrie) @ Brewers (Gallardo) 2:05pm

Blue Jays ( Romero) @ Royals (Duffy)

Yankees (Sabbathia) @ Red Sox (Bard) 8pm

please ignore the odds and just break down the games and tell me who is going to win. I'm not looking for "value" here i'm looking for winners.

TEX/DET - Rangers but like over better
LAD/HOU - Dodgers but passing (don't want to go opposite home team trying to avoid sweep)
    COL/MIL - no strong feeling
TOR/KC - Royals (good spot and Duffy pitching well)
NYY/BOS - Yankees (no good reason to back Red Sox right now)

    BOL whatever you decide.

yeah I like the Yankees their bats seem to be getting hot. And I like the Royals as a home team trying to avoid getting swept. Duffy's stuff looks as good as kershaws but i'm afraid to back the Royals going up against Romero.

Maybe Royals/Blue jays under 8 is good?

Agree with Biff on all games, if had to pick the Mil/Col game I would go with MIL, but either team could explode or lay an egg... def a no play for me

under definitely has potential. 2 lefties and a 21 mph wind in from LF.

And isn't the Brewers -1 or ML probably a good play today?

Guthrie has given up 6 earned runs in each of his last 2 starts. and Gallardo is usually very good at home.

TEX/DET - Over (Lewis 0-2 with an 11.77 ERA in 3 starts last year against Detroit)
LAD/HOU - Under (home team avoiding sweep)
COL/MIL - no strong feeling (Same. Gallardo is 0-2 with an ERA near 8 against COL)
TOR/KC - Under (home team avoiding sweep)
NYY/BOS - Yankees and possibly over since Boston's staff is in shambles and CC has an ERA near 7 against the Sox.

wow it seems everyone is in agreement that ..

Royals/Blue Jays Under is the play
    Tigers/Rangers Over is the play
Dodgers/ Astros Under is the play
    Yankees ML is the play

I know the Rangers and Tigers can hit but 9.5 is kind of a high number and it gets pretty chilly in the D. And both starting pitchers have pitched well up to this point.

more i look at it, more i like TOR/KC under, esp because of the wind with two LHPs.

do threads always work like this in the MLB forum? Nice, neat, straightforward, to the point and actually contain useful opinions......
