Many times over the course of a season there are 1st 5 situations that stand out, tonight there are 2.
Leubke for the Padres in the 1st 5 is a sweet deal here +110, Rockies bats cooled down yesterday and in this spot I see the Padres having a lead before we get to the bullpens. Solid value!
Saunders for the Dbacks-130 at home in the early innings is solid as well because the Dbacks return home tonight after an ok road trip looking to get out early against a very bad offense. Saunders was phenomenal against the padres in his last start and they are a better offense than pitt. Look for Az to get the lead here into the mid innings.
Lastly I really like the Phillies-120 for the whole game tonight, Halladay will outlast linceceum, he has been excellent his 1st 2 starts and I look for more of the same tonight, Phillies broke out of offensive funk yesterday and they should have a few bats ready tonight to get the win.
