    Homefield advantage

    What sports have the best homefield advantage?

    I and sure NFL and NBA would be right up there. MLB advantage could be the ballpark itself, since the home players are more familiar with the park layout. Waht about the other sports?

    Gut feeling I would say:

    1) NHL
    2) NBA
    3) MLB
    4) NFL


    NHL and NBA, the wins on the road (especially in the playoffs) always seem to be the difference maker. NFL, a lot of good teams can go into opposing territory and dominate. Just look at how Wild Card teams have done in the past few years.

    4) nhl A LOT more road teams win in the NHL percentage wise than in the other sports.
