Hundo just incase, if you'd like to have a small safety net. To me it realLy depends on your current bankroll, would this be a huge, good, or moderate score to you. If bankroll under 6k I would hedge at least half personally.

If you are betting ridiculous parlays like this for $270 a pop, then you should almost certainly hedge for obvious reasons

My advice......hedge like a mofo. That's quite a bit of return(over 15 times your stake) on that parlay. To go home empty handed would be atrocious. I would lay $300 to win $1260 on that dog if it was me.

Think about it, thats a guaranteed no stress easy $1260. Even though Lepchenko is a heavy favorite, WTA tennis is a coinflip. If it was Azaraneka I might let it ride but Lepchenko....no way.

    Hedge like a mofo....Good Luck!

The fact that you are even asking this question shows that you're rarely in the situation to hedge for a good profit. I say ride it out - that way if the last leg loses you won't ask a ridiculous question like should I hedge a parlay with a payout of over 4k if the last leg is +420? Then next time you're in this situation you won't think twice.

Why cut your winners short? -EV for most over the long haul.

Hedge for sure. No brainer. Throw 500 to win 2100. That way worst that happens you win 1830. Or you win 3645. Either way a nice score.

If this is not a perfect hedging spot one does not exist.

Normally I would say hedging is for lil bitchez and you should man up and ride your play..BUT..it is wta and furthermore yakimova beat her in straight sets the only time they played and lepchenko is a nobody..throw the nickel on her....you will have enough to win that nickel back easily once the parlay comes in.

Just to clarify. I would hedge half of the original bet if your bankroll was over 6k already pre hedge bet, meaning to win 135 on who lepchenko plays.

Nice hit, Zen.. Take something and run though man.. Hedge and then Hedge again!!

    Hmm..

Original Parlay ...270.00 - 4145.76 (1 game cancelled so 270 - 3131.. Hope my math is right here..)
    Play wins - $3401

    Hedge straight bet...A. Yakimova 330 - 1320..
    Play wins $1650..

    Total stake for both $600..

This way you come out a little over a grand if your parlay loses..but a nice chunk if it hits..

Best of luck buddy... Go get'em!!

Guys sayng to ride it out are obvioulsy not winning players. When you have a sure thing you take it 99% of the time. The only time you might not hedge is if they odds are unfavorable for you or your chances of winning are so great ( -500 fave isnt enough) that making the other bet would constitute a 'bad' play. Examples of this are when you have a team -3 and they are winning by 20 or so at half time. if they dont cover that then you got a bad beat, but no real way to hedge even if there is a ridiculous number on the second half. Because obviously the team you want to lose will be a huge favorite. So you go from laying -3 with a 20 point lead on your team to laying probably double digits on a team you bet against in the first place.

You could put 750 on the straight bet hedge and make at least 3150, if that hedge fails you still make 3400 from the original play. You could obviously work it to a 'perfect' number and 32 and change regardles. Which wouldnt be 'wrong'. Chances like this are what separate winners from losers, thats why it isnt surprising to see so many people say dont hedge, because most guys are losers.
