    had surgery., in hospital for a couple of days.. not looking good. Doesn't matter which ankle that is a 1 year + injury.. Good news is his tommy john surgery will have totally healed in two years

    dont care much about his pro career but on a personal level hope he and his family can recover from this accident. I dont think the sight of his injury will be easily forgotten by those in the area that day.

    the guy almost died from blood loss

    it was a horrific injury

    claims he will be back in july is a fukkin joke and cashman and girardi pretty much intimated over the weekend that he is living in fantasyland thinking that

    typical athlete who has been whoreshit and knows he fukked up majorly and is doing anything to try to convince himself he will make it back

    I have yet to see any official source saying he almost bled out. And even if he did so what? Do you know how many people almost bleed out every day and make a full recovery? Its not a lasting injury its an in the moment injury. he didnt bleed out, that wont effect him.

    So just because he thinks he will be ready for July and Giardi thinks itll be a bit later then that his career is over?

    There is a small chance he does not heal 100% and its a career ending injury, but that chance is small and there is no evidence yet for people to start spewing his career is over.

    Over with the Yankees is something I can see but theyll be plenty of teams willing to roll the dice

    thanks! Why are no other news reports talking about the loss of blood? Either way that will not effect him, he survived that part so its over lol.

    Again there is absolutely 0 evidence his career is over. All articles saying its career ending is quoting the same doctor who knows no specifics of the injury what so ever except that it was an open fracture.

    So far it hasnt been reported that ligaments were torn so that takes away that guys main argument and it was announced that there were no microfractures which is a HUGE plus. Theres about another 999999999 factors that go into this if itll be a career ending injury.

    You guys are way to quick to jump to conclusions lol.
