In a matchup of starting pitchers heading in opposite directions, we feel that young southpaw Rich Hill gives the Cubbies some value at this price.

Rich Hill has reeled off back-to-back quality starts, allowing a total of just four runs and 11 hits in 15 innings over those outings. He should be tough on a Colorado lineup that has never faced him, and he is catching a Rockies team that is batting just .224 over the last 10 games, including a putrid .149 vs. left-handed pitching! Should Hill be in need of relief, the Chicago bullpen has been outstanding the last three games posting a 0.55 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 16-1/3 relief innings.

Now Aaron Cook has some nice numbers for Colorado this season, but he has been off of his game lately. Cook was beaten up by the Giants in his last start, surrendering five earned runs and nine hits while lasting just 5-1/3 innings. Finally the Cubs have been hitting right-handed pitchers well lately, batting .289 against them over the last 10 games, and Chicago is also 10-4 in the last 14 head-to-head meetings with the Rockies.
