    Will Bobby Abreu and Cory Lidle get the Yankees to the playoffs?

    Now that the Yankees made their move, and aquired Bobby Abreu and Cory Lidle. Will this be enough to give them the upper hand on winning the wild card or even the American League East?

    I say it gets them to the playoffs.
    And if they get Cano and Matsui soon that lineup will look as scary as it ever has, and I think Lidle is a pithcing upgrade. He'll definitely eat some innings...
    I think we'll see both Boston and NY in the playoffs... again.

    Cory Lidle is probly the weak link.

    he reminds me of sturtz, and that guy is very shaky at times.

    I'm surprised the Yankees are now the (very slight) favorites to win the AL East according to Pinny. These guys definitely will help, but I don't know. i still think Toronto is the best team in the East with Rios back.
