    Cardinals Got Screwed: JFK II

Before the game, the announcers kept saying that Holland would have to pitch INSIDE to win the game.
Then he worked inside, and balls 6+ inches inside were called STRIKES. All night. And a few that were a tad low or a tad outside. BUT more importantly, a hitter is screwed when balls that far INSIDE are called strikes.
    WTF?
Fox even ran a sequence showing about 8 or so in a row that were outside of the plate by a LOT that were called strikes.
Then, of course, the Cardinals were forced to swing at anything close, which greatly reduces you potential to hit the ball squarely.
MLB did not want it to go 3-1.
    2 + 2.
    Think.
    Dallas is the site again.
