Joe Girardi... Manager of the Year?

i know it's early, but i think he should be.

just look what this guy has done with that team.

Girardi has really gotten the most out of this no-name marlins team this year. oh sure he has willis and cabrera, but thats perty much all he really has to work with.

We had a "best manager in baseball" thread bout a week ago that turned out pretty interesting.
I agree the Girardi has had a "pretty good year" taking into consideration the offseason decitions made there.
I also think Clint Hurdle, Jerry Narron, and Jhon Gibbons should get some consideration if we look at the record/talent ratio. This besides the obvious choice Jim Leyland.
My vote goes for Hurdle, so far at least...

The Marlins are a young team that has seemed to get on the same page and been playing very well lately. Will be interesting to see if they can keep that pace up. They will be a team to reckon with in the coming years if they dont ship the players to other teams.

Girardi has done a very good job thus far, but to say Manager of they Year....well its still to early for that.
