ST. LOUIS -1.5 runs +155

Kyle Lohse was dominant against the Phillies in the NLDS in game 1, holding them to one run through 5 innings before leaving a fastball up in the zone for Ryan Howard to obliterate. Lohse was deal the loss as the Phillies put up an 11 spot. Not to make the guy out to be on Doc's level or anything remotely close, but Kyle Lohse was the Cardinals most consistent SP this season. In 30 starts, he gave up more than 3 runs in 9 of them, more than 4 in only 3 and pitched 6 or more innings in 21 starts. In May, he pitched 8 innings of 1 run ball in a 4-0 loss at home to Milwaukee, lost at Miller Park 8-0 on June 10, giving up 4ER through 5 and beat the Beers in St. Louis on September 6,pitching 6 shutout innings in a 4-2 win. In back to back starts against the Red Birds, Randy Wolf had the epitome of mixed results. In the first game at home he was rocked for 6ER through 5 in and 8-3 loss and pitched 8 innings of 1 run ball at Busch Stadium 5 days later. But one glance at Wolf's line in his last three is enough to make a bettor not trust him one iota: 14 2/3INN, 17ER, 26H, 10K, 7BB. This veteran Cards team must be salivating at the oppurtunity to take a commanding lead and close out at home. ST. LOUIS wins 6-2
