I think the blind assumption that Verlander will pitch well just because it's Verlander is a false one. No Delmon Young solidifies it for me. I'm also bothered by the line in this game vs. the series line. If Detroit was the play here, Texas wouldn't be -140 to win the series.

Delmon Young is out? Thought he was Day-to-Day, was he ruled out? Yeah that also changes my perspective considerably. Verlander has the ability to shut down the Texas offense, but the Rangers always manage to deliver w/ RISP @ some point during the game, depends if Verlander will pitch a CG. This is a close call.
With that said C.J. Wilson has struggled lately, its one of those

It's the first time for me in this forum,I'm Portuguese,and I love USA and MLB,NHL.So,tonight we have the first game,with the best pitcher (Verlander),in my opinion against a very good one in the Texas side,but,don't means that is Detroit the winner.In my opinion Texas win the game. But assuming he won't pitch well may be a poorer assumption. Delmon Young is NO game changer, decent player, not a base path threat, not a power threat or a defensive plus.
