D backs beat them twice and were in great position to score twice with the game tied tonight. Congrats to the brewers and their fans but that team can be beat. To be honest I would like to see them win it all... but I really think Detroit will get it done.

I hope brewers win it all, they executed small ball which is huge in the playoffs. Home-run hitting ball clubs usually don't win the world series. yes brewers do lead the league in home runs, but if you watched them at all this year, esp. in the second half we play small ball more then any other team. In the first inning if hart gets a single, 9/10 times morgan will be bunting him over to 2nd, to have a man on 2nd with braun and fielder up with 1 out.

we probably ran the squeeze play more then any other team in a long long time.

tell the truth I don't like Brewers rotation. Gallardo is a high class starting pitcher. Others? Most people like Greinke but I think he is a bit of overrated, Marcum has a motivation problems IMO. please note that he is not good in first innings.pichs a lot and allows runs in first innings. Wolf is an ordinary person....I hope Brwers win it all but not so easy with this rotation. fortunately bullpen better this year.Especially Francisco Rodriguez has a positive effect on the bullpen

I expect () a World Series between Rangers and Brewers. Brewers really have the motivation to be a champion, but Texas have it also.

Cards in 6. Albert, Holiday, and Berkman are too much. And no one wants that fool, Nyjer to be on the air too much longer.

How can you hate on Morgan, he is having way to much fun. Same thing for all the brewers fielder braun, everyone.
cards are too stuck up, and act like they are in the high class soceity, and have bitched about the brewers all year. Saying we had to be cheating, by turning up the brightness on the video board, saying that we were kidding signals from someone while at bat, LaRusa is a tool. If there is any unlikable guy in this series its him.

I couldn't live with myself losing to the cards, if there was on team in the NL i couldn't stand to lose to it would be the Cards. They have bitch,ed, bitched, bitched, about the brewers. Even their fans act like they have a stick up their ass.

Tony Plush, comes up big for us again in this series, and Ryan Braun continues is great dominance. Guy is hitting .500. .575 OBP.
Greinke has done very well vs cards during the season, i think we win game 1. and then game 2 i am not too sure of yet. It matters who Cards put out there, we have done very very well vs Edwin Jackson this year. So if they put him out there in game 2, i say we take a 2-0 lead, get 1 game in STL, and come back to Milwaukee with the sere 3-2. Who knows what happens then.

These teams are so evenally matched i think this one goes at least six games. Most likely 7 games.

Nyjer Morgan aka Tony Plush is the NL version of AJ Pierzynski you love him if he is on your team and you hate him if he isn't as simple as that!

wtt you just can't connect the dots and say they actually mean something. What you said means nothing but peoples opinions were wrong. Big surprise. Shocking. You are saying basically the Cards can't lose in this series by saying the brewers can't win. So basically you are saying the same thing , which according to your own standard means the brewers would win.

anyways brewers play vs. Garcia. Don't let the numbers fool you. Brewers got 10 hits off of him, and 7 runs, but only 3 earned. 10 hits is still a lot. Gomez, has been hot as of late, and will likely get the start tomorrow because it is a lefty.
Braun owns lefty's all year, and has been hitting .500 in the post season I look for him to have anther huge game. Morgan has hit .333 vs them all year, but I am sure we will see him coming off the bench plate in the game.

Can't wait, 305 start. Greinke go get the job done, go make Melvin look like a genius he is.

here is Lucroys comments a few months ago on Tony Larusa, I don't get how anyone could disagree with them.
""There's always something when we play the Cardinals. I know that as a player we're all kind of tired of La Russa's antics. This is what he does. He does that to try and play mind games with you. And he wants to get you all mad and angry and get distracted. That's just what he does. That's how he plays the game. Same thing with the scoreboard (lighting) thing. He is just doing it to try and get any advantage he can. And for us, we're all just kind of tired of it. He intentionally hit (Ryan) Braun after we unintentionally hit Pujols. So take that as whatever you think it means. That's just the way he is. We're not really worried about it. We don't really care.
"What we ought to do is just bury him out there, and just put it on him. That's what we want to do. We don't want to fight him. We don't want to hit anybody. We just want to beat him on the field."
