    I also read this...not really a shocker, as someone has to take a wrap for the inexcusable collapse. However, these types of moves rarely play out well, as the real blame is on the players, who'll likely be suiting up next season. I don't see how this team reverses things if they still hold onto Lackey, Lester, and Berdard. They need younger, more durable pitchers to have a chance.

    they should have spent the money on Cliff Lee instead of Crawford. They would have won the division.
