    Burnett's day's are numbered in N.Y- officially this will be his last start of the season.
    He needs a new home badly, I never liked him in pin stripes. A trip back to the N.L. will do him justice.
    Houston may be in his future.

    i read a new rule on the MLB site.. if you get 3 outs on less than 5 pitches

    they discount a run... so this game is not out of reach by any stretch

    i don't think we should be too hasty with Burnett..

    we should give him a chance... every pitcher has a bad game every now and again..

    it's literally impossible to dominate every start

    ****if a pitcher with a great haircut gets 3 Outs on two OR less pitches..
    then ALL RUNS ALLOWED are taken off board..

    Your right everyone gets shelled on occasion ,but it is becoming routine for him. He is of no use for N.Y.
    None what so ever. He is finished. Could you imagine what will would happen to him in the playoffs? shelled Bombed- lit the fu*k up.
    I do believe he has some talent ,but it is not showing in N.Y.
    Like I stated before- he needs to get back to the N.L. he could have a few more successful years there.
