lol @ Vogelsong, Eli Whiteside, and the SF Giants

Vogelsong -300 (what Einstein made him -300?) losing to a minor league team, with Cy Sosa Young on the mound, at home yet.

Houston running wild on who should be a minor league catcher, Eli Whiteside.
How many stolen bases does Houston have this game? 47 ?
Whiteside's noodle arm makes Jason Varitek look like Johnny Bench.

-300 Biggest joke of the year

Trap? More like foolish for anyone who played it at that price.

They still may win- it's not over until the end of the 9th or extra frames.

    Vogelsong
7.1 innings, 6 hits, 3 runs, 4 k's- that's giving your team what they need to be in the game. Houston is a pro team the last time I checked. Regardless of their shit bag record this year- they still can beat any team on any given night. No trap play- no shitty outing by Vogelsong, just lack of offensive production on the Giants again. Or maybe they are just trying to lose- you know "the lack of effort conspiracy theory".

Being a San Fran pitcher must be absolutely painful. They cant score for the life of them, last year was a total fluke. Cody Ross hitting two of Halladay, the stars aligned.

3 runs in 7+ is a good job against anyone. It's the offense that is a joke. Runners on every inning pretty much and cant do dick.

You left out one very important statistic FOUR walks, making that 10 base runners in 7.1 for a piss poor WH/IP ratio of 1.36

Can't argue that point, but still a very solid outing that left the Giants in striking distance.
They just can't score runs. next year they will address this. I'm truly surprised that they did not pursue some serious reliable scorers prior to the season beginning. They were fortunate enough to be in the position they were in last year. If Bonds was with this line up they would be sick.
