    Now I've seen it all.

Brewers 13 game winning streak vs Pirates comes to an end with the worst pitcher in baseball (Lincoln) on the mound for Pirates + scrub lineup, quite possibly the worst lineup the Pirates could assemble, while the Brewers have their number 2 on the mound with their FULL lineup.

Unbelievable. I've seen it all. Thanks for nothing Brewers, you scum.

None. Honestly, only a single A team could have lost to Brad LIncoln tonight... Brewers made bank betting on the Pirates, b/c honestly, Brad Lincoln is the worst pitcher in baseball and the Pirates lineup was the worst lineup in major league baseball started this year.

I will love fading Greinke in the playoffs... he has serious emotional problems.

No reason? LOL... Pirates were starting the worst pitcher in baseball with the worst lineup in baseball supporting him and backing a 13 game losing streak to the opposition?

I nominate your post as dumbest of the year. Nay, history.

You've made like 40 posts about this game. You sound like a 16 year old kid who lost his first bet. YES, believe it or not, teams with great pitchers on the mound lose to scrubs sometimes. Why do you think the line was where it was? Vegas doesnt give out free money. If it were that easy the line would have been -600, but its not.

One game should not matter if you know what you're doing. It is one loss move on.

Don't care about the loss. Care about the effort.

Brewers were up 2-0 after 1 inning and thought they could give up. Utterly embarrassing to just stop playing baseball on a major league baseball field.

You're not even making sense. You're mad cuz of the effort, and so youre going to fade them in the playoffs. You think this game means the same to them as they playoffs will? Of course not.

Um.. their playoff rotation will be made up of Gallardo (I believe his playoff debut), Greinke (a guy who has serious anxiety issues) and then who? Randy Wolf? Narveson?

They will get blasted in the playoffs regardless of effort.

i hadn't made any on brewers.... recently anyway. Their garbage runs actually cost me my under 8.5 in the first game

Then they can't score any runs off Brad Lincoln. What a joke.

Relatively new here but why is it that everytime someone takes a rough loss there's like a line of people coming in to say "it's just one game...move on", "if one game affects you're bankroll, stop betting", "this is baseball, it happens", etc. etc. etc. I mean this is a forum, so what's the big deal about venting some stress?? And I wholeheartedly agree that while I hate losing bets, what I hate even more is when I witness a lack of concern/caring (yes i know they're playing for themselves and not the sake of my bet but still). After that wild pitch that let in the 4th run there was a shot of greinke and prince sharing a good laugh, shit like that just disgusts me when i'm backing a team and they don't seem to care, so what?

same boat, luckily I hedged my parlay by taking the pirates here, but what should have been a solid winning night is just gonna be breakeven now which is very frustrating after everything else went right.

Seems like you have moved away from the common sense stance that you were taking just a few days ago, in which playing large faves is a losing proposition in the long-run. I think you were right before and am not sure why you changed things up...sorry to hear that you lost 3.9 units on the Brewers tonight...

Can't believe a -200 fav lost. First ever?

The absolute best teams in baseball lose between 35 and 40% of the time.

My luck today was absolutely horrendous. I played under 7 rays/tigers, 4 runs in the last 2 innings to push it.

I played under 8.5 in the brewers game 1, 7 runs in the last 2 innings to lose it.

Cardinals blow a lead in the 9th, Brewers get 2 runs in 3 batters and thats all they get and lose to friggin brad lincoln.

I need a beer or 10 after my shitty luck tonight.

    1. Gallardo has a playoff start under his belt (7 innings, 0 earned runs)
    2. Not familiar with Shaun Marcum?
    3. Greinke has been a beast in the 2nd half and you're ready to lynch him after one bad outing

Your so wrong, but to each is their own.
A Gallardo , Marcum, Grienke punch will be dominant. Followed by Wolf, Naverson, Or even possibly Estrada if needed. They can make the World Series and do believe they will. Marcum is a beast in my opinion and both him and Greinke have extensive expierence against A.L. teams. They make the series and they will be world champs.
They are as dominant as they have shown lately. It is not a fluke. It's hard to say for sure who they will be facing in the playoffs. They still have a shot at leading the N.L. in wins. They can contend with all of the four possible teams left.
