I think this is the first time I ever backed Carl Pavano.

This wager is more anti Zack Britton than pro Carl Pavano.

For starters (no pun intended) Britton is banged up with a bad shoulder, coming off a rehab start in minor league Norfolk.
I wouldn't wager Britton when healthy, banged up it looks like a gift.

Britton's numbers on the year are awful, 6-9 4.66 WH/IP ratio is horrendous 1.47
Horrible K ratio, so when he gets in trouble, needs to put the ball in play to get out of trouble.

Twins line up should smack Britton around, Orioles will have to get into their crappy pen early, with Britton on a pitch count.

Pavano will never win a Cy Young, but he's the type of journey man pitcher that knows how to win this type of game.

Pavano has trouble with the Verlander games, or when he's matched up with a Weaver type, this game he wins, rather easy I believe.

I'll make an exception and lay .34 cents with Pavano, at home, versus a banged up gas can.
