Anyone else see the value in this?
Ted Lily has gone 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA against the Rockies this season. Lilly, FURTHERMORE is 7-2 with a 3.99 ERA in 10 starts versus Colorado, and he gets run support. Dodgers on a 2-game win streak (although that's not saying much) and have some momentum.
Rogers has an ERA 6, but what's more important is he only has 10 more K's than walks (37 - 27) with a horrible WHIP of 1.86.
Lily's last start was an 11-7 victory, allowing 1 ER, with the bullpen yielding the 6 runs in the 8th and 9th innings.
I'm going to be on the Dodgers again tomorrow.
