    One of the strangest ways I've seen a trade go down in a while. It was like he knew he had already been traded yet was still pitching for the Rockies. His head totally wasn't in the game.

    Ubaldo traded for 5 players...damn Cleveland really went after him...paid a high price... Drew Pomeranz, Joe Gardner and Alex White, and first baseman Matt McBride...and a player to be named. Cleveland unloaded their #2..#3..#7...prospects or their Top 3 pitching prospects...whichever way you want to read the trade....yikes

    Exactly. If you listened to his interview after he was pulled, he said that he couldn't think about baseball during that first inning because he thought he wasn't going to be pitching today. He found out late that he was pitching and couldn't get into his routine. He was thinking about the trade throughout the first inning and was not concentrated on throwing strikes and getting guys out.
