    This was a smart "half all-in play"....

    1st... Vogelsong is a beast at home

    2nd... No scores were up vs 1st inning score games 7-5, and a lot had endured crazy stuff happening for it to be at 7-5, like Pitts got out of top 1st bases full and 0 frekkin outs... + a rain delay Double plays with 2 on no out... etc

    3rd... When no scores are winning on the day with only so-so matchups in most of them, that is a pure sign from the heavens

    a no score day was due to win by more than 1 game vs 1st inning score games... due theory

    Agreed about it being a smart play, but no wager is worth risking half your BR.
