Who likes Baltimore over Boston tonight?

I like Baltimore over Boston tonight due to the fact that Boston played extremely late last night and then had to fly to Baltimore. Any thoughts?

I remember a lot of people using that same logic not too long ago when Boston/New York played until around 2:30AM because of rain delays, and both had to travel to a new away city the next day. Boston and New York both won by 4 runs the next night.

ive always thought if you are gonna use this strategy that the gm to fade was gm 2 of a series as teams tend to get by on adrenaline the 1st gm after the fast turn around(honestly couldnt tell you how accurate it is just dont like overreacting on the 1st gm). that said im not trying to take balty for cheap against Bos anytime soon. BOL

no. now i'm not saying boston is a lock, but that's not a good approach. these guys are pros. if anything they'll have a truncated warmup and take lighter bp, they'll be fine. ~1/3 of their lineup will be 100% fresh (pitcher, catcher (2 most important guys to winning with most control of outcome anyway) and crawford who was already at baltimore probably before tampa game even started last night. plus ells will DH w/ortiz starting his suspension so his legs will be preserved for stolens.

exactly they will almost in a way be sharper with the grind of the past 24 hours. im just worried about francona sitting ortiz and maybe even gonzo..............as for game 2 yeah they will come out flat and probably lose

not touching this series in game 1... whoever wins, i will chase the other team next 2 games, just like I did with the Yanks in the TOR series.

Its just 1 factor. Look at pitchers, bullpens, lineups, past series etc. GL
