I'll be honest with you guys the Reds were going to be a 2 unit play for me today regardless of the outcome of our first play but after the pirates put up a 4 spot that 5th inning i let my emotions get the best of me and ended up making it a 5 unit play..... Im hoping the play comes through... if it doesn't let my actions be an example as to why you should never go on tilt when it comes to sports betting... I don`t have the balls to bet 5 units in a spot like the one tonight. I placed the wager before you adviced that it was the heat of the moment, but my wager was for 1.5 units and Cardinals before that for 1 unit.

BP--good job--yes brewers got people on base, but also incredible play in first blocked 2 runs for cincy and two outstanding catches in center also limited the reds--full tilt can work out. I went all in on cincy early this year and now doubled the acct. not anything good as far as betting goes--congrats--I am a cincy homer and have lived here for decades (ps put over 20% of acct on cingani last night)Comment -

Let me preface with what I am about to write with me saying, you are much better at picking games than anyone I have come across on this forum. The Cards have faced Wood 3 times this year and this is what he has done: 3 ER over 5.2, 3 ER over 7, and 1 ER on a solo homer over 6.2. The Cards did get 10 hits last time they saw him while Wood pitched out of some jams, but other than that the Cards really haven't hit him that well and it worries me with STL being one of the weaker hitting teams against lefties (26th in the majors in OPS against lefties). I'm not here to throw stats at you because you can make any bet look bad doing that, I am more just wondering why you like the Cards so much in this situation. Kelly has started two games against the Cubs getting wins in both but gave up 4 runs in 5.1 his last start Aug 11 against the Cubs. Doesn't facing the same pitcher in less than a week usually benefit the offense? Cards have a better lineup, need the game more, and are a good enough team that rarely loses back to back games against worse opponents, so looking at this game it would seem like a good game to stay away from. Yes wood has pitched decent against the cards this year and the reason. I only say decent is because if you watched those games in which he pitched against the cards this year outside of the game he only gave up the solo hr... The cards bats were making really solid contact against him.... Last year the cards ate up wood with virtually the same lineup they have this year.. Cards were just embarressed yesterday 7-0 and the fact that they were 2 hit should have their players hungry to bring out the sticks today against a pitcher they've had success against in the past.... Cards have more incentive to gain in winning this game than the cubs do which in my mind should bring out the better in this cardinal players..yes joe kelly kind of struggled last week against the cubs but before that he has done a whole lot better... I think he will pitch much better today than he did last week..... For the most part that is my angle for this game and it is why I decided tomake this a 2 unit play for me and whoever else decides to tail...Comment -
