HR Derby done now....What Bets do You Like for the All Star Game?

Looks like the total is somewhere around 8.5 and the NL team is a slight favorite at this hour...

For this years All-Star game we will be playing the OVER 8.5 Runs with an underdog vig of +104.
Considering this season so far has been a pitching dominant league, looking at both lineups each league has the right mix of players to hit for power and to manufacture runs. Main note, the relief pitchers with the exception of 3-4 starters are not as strong as usual.
Expect Jered Weaver of the Angels to struggle as the starter of the AL.
4-4 tie and we got ourselves a winner. That is what I expect.

AL won the home run derby and NL will win the All Star Game with Doc pitching. As easy as that.

    Some stats:
    Since 1983, AL is 20-7-1
In last 7 NL ballparks, NL is 0-6-1
Under is 3-0 since 2008 (each time, has been 7 or less runs)

A difference of 3 really isn't worth even mentioning.

For anyone interested, this site has every game from 1933, with the score, park, host team and winning and losing pitchers.

I'm taking the over. The ball really seems to travel well in that spacious park. Someone said it has the highest elevation of any other stadium besides Coors field.

So....small play on the over. It's more fun rooting for scoring anyway.

How do you cap a game when each player is going to be pinch hit for and starting pitchers are coming out of the bullpen for the first time in something like 5+ years?

I can't even begin to think of how to look at this thing

Yea pretty hard to cap, but I'm still going to try to make a small bet on it so I can watch it and root for something. Baseball is boring if you don't bet or root for a team, so I'm looking for something, either ML or total.

I'm taking the same bet I made last year.. FFUN4.5
No thought process. The first couple of pitchers should be too good for the lineups.
