    Redsox fans get all pumped up to play yankees all they care about is beating the yankees. Yankee Fans can give 2 shits about the Redsox care about winning world series.

    It's not the other way around, we did win it all in 2009......I'd say it's about even and that's a good thing

    Both teams are awesome with a great fanbase and history and I would say fans of both teams are pumped up anytime the Sox and Yankees play......obviously both fan bases care more about winning it all as both teams are serious contenders but to say one fan base is different than the other with regards to this is dead wrong

    Both fan bases have a mix of morons, bandwagoners, true diehards, and intelligent fans.....Nothing pisses me off more than when people label a whole fanbase of either side and act like the other is better......Yankees and Red Sox fans have a lot more in common than not

    All i know is that a few years ago Red Sox fans were crying about how much money the Yankees were spending....past few years Boston has been up there just with the Yankees.

    My gauge for success is based on finishing better than the Yankees each year.

    Obviously I want the Red Sox to win it, but if they fall short, hopefully they make it further than the Yankees.

    And I completely agree with MLD about the fan bases - every fan base has their fair share.

    see some1 said i hope every year sox finish better then the yankees. I dont care where the sox finish as a yankee fan I care what yankees do
