    they hardly ever win, they are so bad. hunter pence whiffs a lot, he is overrated if that is even possible for an astro, i bet on them tonight, stupid. same with rockies who don't understand that you have to swing the bat in order to get an rbi. clowns.

    I am going to bet the stros to win tomorrow... pitts is over .500 too much and they just got good hitting from a random dude today for 3 of their rbi... leadoff ppl sucked. pitts always faulters once they get over .500 ball by a few games... I see a HOU win tomorrow, I think Norris will dominate.

    I'm a long time Astro fan. This team, other than Pence and Bourn, looks like they have totally quit on their manager, Mills. They have no discipline at the plate, their defense is God awful, and don't even get me started on the bullpen. This team was playing a lot harder and looser when Bagwell was the hitting coach last year. I really believe if he had stayed, this team would be more competitive than they are now. Hopefully the new owner, Crane, will pump some life into this franchise, and make them competitive again 4-5 years down the road.

    They are traditionally one of the best teams in the Majors after the AllStar break though. And they cant get much worse. They will lose only 96 games

    Aren't you from Pitts? Pitts has sucked royally for over thirty years and should lose their team along with KC.

    Houston has been one of the most successful MLB clubs in the last 15 years. I would say top 7 at least in overall success.

    This is what happens when you deplete your minor league system over the years.

    The Astros' depleted their farm system over the past 15 years or so by signing big name free agents while in the playoff hunt.

    They fired Gerry Hunsicker, which was a huge mistake. The owner refused to spend money the last few years signing draft picks.

    not really much of a prediction more then half way to the season. its like predicting now the indians will go over there season win total of 70.5 and the pirates will beat there 67.5 win total.
