This is why I hate betting run lines.

On Rox with Jimmenez, -1.5 +140

Rox and Jimmenez sailing, 4-1, then he pulls up lame in the sixth with a calf problem.

Bull pen gives up a quick two, making it 4-3.

Fast foward, Rox pick up a run with a solo shot, 5-3

Ninth inning, here comes Huston Street for the save, gets the first two outs easy, gives up a walk, you know what's coming next, two outs, why hold him on, Rox give them second base for nothing on catchers indifference, then weak single, 5-4, next batter you know is going to go down like a five dollar hooker.

    Yep, 5-4, buh bye hundy.

rockies had no business winning that game anyway

tigers' 3rd base coach should be shot

If Jimmenez doesn't go down, they win by 3+

Scattering hits doesn't mean shut when you don't score. Fact is Rockies were up 3 and should have won by 3 + easily. You'd have to be a Detroit homer to think they should have won that game in any way shape or form.

    were you watching the game?

turning point was lamont sending peralta with the tying run

tigers should have had 2nd and 3rd with no one out down 3-2

the point of this guy's thread is to bitch about the rl -- i just think that's funny, given how fortunate they were to win the game in the first place

how do you figure they should've 'won by 3+ easily'? lol

Unfortunately that's the way it is with baseball wagering. Risk it and take the RL or risk it and take the dogs. Anything else is just way too overpriced.

Yeah, after seeing the Yankees lose the RL in the bottom of the 9th today, I'm grateful I feel no urge to bet this crazy ass sport this year. I don't have the stomach for it any more.

I like -1 RLs better then -1.5 RLs especially for home teams.
Pays less but at least you get your money back

The first 'single' was a bouncer to Lindstrom off his glove that had double play written all over it, then after the double, the last two outs were 'K's.

p.s. I think Detroit strung two hits together twice all game, don't give me this Colorado should have won this game easy dude, Tigers were down 0-3 early, Jimenez was pitching to the score, he knew what he was doing the first five innings with the 3-0 lead he was given.

So I guess if Detroit had cut it to 3-2 by your logic, Colorado never would have scored again. Lmao. Gmafb

You people crack me up with your what ifs. Fact is this run line should have covered easily.

This same thing happened against the Dodgers a week or two ago, too. I want to punch Rockies' pitchers in the face.

so i'm crazy for saying detroit could have very easily won the game, but your 'colorado should've won by 3+' is fact and not an exaggeration?

    again, lol

i'm not the one who started the 'what if' game

you are just as biased about colorado easily covering the rl as i might be about detroit winning the game

    ok

    "others" as in one poster

tigers had back to back hits in the 3rd, a walk and a single when peralta then doubled and cabrera was thrown out at home to start the 4th, three straight singles and a double for four straight hits in the sixth when peralta was thrown out at home, then cabrera flies out to the wall in the 9th as the potential go-ahead run

outhit the rockies 12-6 and had two runners thrown out at home

yet you're bitching about not winning the rl
