    What happened to Jason Bay?

Guy had a couple good years with Boston, solid power numbers...

Now he is hitting .216 with 10 RBIs.

He was in a positive mood and knew he needed to play well to get out of Pittsburgh so he did (Like several former Buccos do).

Then he was happy playing for a contender in Boston so gave it his all and performed well.

Now he got traded to the lowly Mets, now realizes his career is officially over and he will never be a winner, setting in and negatively affecting his performance.

    Just my thoughts on it.

2nd basemen never ever age well.
    Reach 32 and its over.
Look at what happened to Alomar.

Im just happy the Jays were not able to trade for him. Feel sorry for Atlanta and those 4 years remaining.

The Mets are MLB's version or the Redskins. Every big name free agent signing sets the team back 2 years.

It is amazing that the guys who are 33 and older have slowed down so much. No more steroids or amphetamines to keep the old guys going these days.
