    Couple years ago at all star game was saying he was better than mo

    And should close game if AL has the lead

    Guy isn't qualified to hand wash the great Rivera's jockstrap

    Very soon will go the way of other burned out closers

    Like the Billy Koch's of the world

    And the Derrick Turnbow's of the world

    I don't know if I'd say Papelbon is a bum, but he certainly isn't Rivera. Game 7 of the World Series, I'm taking Mo every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

    There are plenty worse closers in the majors.

    Paplebon is one of the best. Dont call him a bum just because he blows a save, every closer blows it from time to time.

    the guy has been undependable for a pretty long time

    hasnt been lights out dominant in a couple years

    he will not be on the red sox next year

    they will let him walk
