But yet, you guys can't seem to get that beloved Stanley Cup north of the border.

How long has it been? 20 years?

Uhhhh....most of the teams that won down south are all full of Canadians. What's your point? Take out the canadians from your team and you're buried.

So if the Canucks win, it's not really a win for Canada or Vancouver then, right? Almost all of the talent on Vancouver comes from outside Canada. Sedins are from Sweden, Kesler is from the USA. Luongo and Burrows are Canadian...la-di friggin da

I see. Your argument only works when it's to prove your point, right?

When USA based teams win with Canadians, that's no good. When Canadian based teams with Swedes/Americans, that's OK.

    Sounds hypocritical.

It's a mute point anyways. Boston wins the Cup and our best players are from outside Canada for the most part. Thomas, Chara, Seidenberg, Kreji, Kaberle.

    It's going to be glorious.

I have no problem with USA Teams winning with Canadians. I like seeing Canadians excel at this sport. If Canadian teams with mostly Swedes/Americans win there's no problem with that either.

Take away Horton, Lucic, Marchand, Ryder and Peverley the Bruins wouldn't be in the playoffs.

Yes, but the Bruins play at TD (Toronto Dominion) Banknorth Garden and the Zamboni guy is a Canadian (Guy Frontenac) and the manager of Ice at TD Garden is also a Canadian (Matt L'ecole)

    1. Peverley was traded for mid-season after the Bruins were already in 1st place in the division. He also had 41 points and was a -17 this season, not quite what you'd expect for a "leader"

    2. Marchand and Ryder had 41 points each this season...not exactly make or break type of stats

    3. Horton/Lucic were the two leading goal scorers this season...so you have made your point there.

Peverley, Marchand and Ryder can be replaced and weren't the be-all-end-all for the Bruins this season.
