I am an Indians fan - hoping they are for real, but they just showed a stat on ESPN that the only other two teams to lose 93 games or more and then start 30-15 the next year, both failed to make the post season. If Indians get Sizemore and Haf back for the rest of the year w/o injuries, they may have a shot if the starting pitching staff also stays intact.

No. They are better than originally given credit for but when you hit .320 with risp and have 15 come back wins that's when you know you're running hotter than the sun.

i love how no one thinks they are real, it's keeping the lines at great value, and they have solid pitching and hitting, what's not to like? i guess their bullpen is pretty average, but did you see some of the plays the second baseman orlando cabrera makes? and asdrubel cabrera is solid. watch some games, don't listen to espn or some shit.

keep betting against them people. this team has one of the most underrated pitching staffs in the bigs, great coach and some clutch hitters. they will not let up, if they would have you would think it would be now with sizemore and hafner on the DL.

they are more than legit enough to compete and win this division, of coarse they cant keep up this pace but if they play .500 ball the rest of the way det will be the only team with a shot at them and they are so streaky who knows.

They need to play better on the road to make believers out of us.

Were just enjoying the ride for right now but being a cleveland fan we have been disappointed more times then not.

Their offense does seem to "mesh" really well......but what's been the true surprise is their pitching and like the poster who mentions the division they play in (aka Tigers & Sox, forget the Twinkies and Royals)....the next 45 game 'sampling size' ought to be very interesting..............
