    Cubs game and wind question

    The Cubs/Dodgers game opened at 8.5 o/u.

It's now at 9. Not much of a change.

The wind is SSW (blowing out to almost dead center field) at 8 mph. It is forecast to be SSW at 7 - 8 mph for the whole game.

How hard does the wind have to blowing out at Wrigley to have an appreciable effect? Doesn't seem like 8 mph is enough to make a major difference.

I don't care because there are a lot of nonsense line movements and line changings on MLB. Nearly 2 weeks ago Astros-Brewers line opened at 7,5 and closed at 8,5. If I'm not wrong astros won (2-1) and Under. Also there wasn't any strong wind effect.
