All bets stand after 55 minutes have been played. So of there was more than 5:00 left when lightning struck, all bets are void.

Books use this as a freeroll often once I bet a game with an over bet that was stopped in the fifth inning the o/u was 8.5 and 9 runs had already been scored, i made the argument it was a winner because had the game been finished it was not possible it would be less than 8.5. Got nowhere and had to settle for the refund. If you win you get your money back and if you lose they keep it. This is why I stick to betting horses at legit US based sites like xpressbet and twinspires offshore is a bunch of crooks.

They either would have said the game doesn't count, or they still could have scored more runs. This is a complete bullshit move on their part.

Did you bet this game live? I know that bet365 also handles bets in real time. Meaning, for instance you bet on basketball total under in their live system, and as soon as total goes over, bet is settled regardless if the game is finished or is still underway.

Probably that is the case here.

WOW! With some of the happenings of late, I have to wonder if the people running these books have ever taken any business classes in their life. Is it really worth all this bad press and lost deposits to rip someone off on a 1 unit bet? Even if this thread only stops one person from depositing (which I'm sure its stopped more than 1), their company is losing money in the long run. Sometimes whether you think you're right and they are wrong, the bad publicity will hurt you far more, then to try to questionable take someones money.

Yes and NO. Yes, they can change the rules whenever they want, and no one can immediately hold them responsible. However, when they build a reputation as a book that breaks rules and screws over the player. People will slowly hear, and not deposit there. Eventually they will go bankrupt or at least not be as profitable had they played by the rules.

A perfect example is this: I've traveled places that were beautiful, but at the same time not that safe. Now if the locals wanted they could kidnap me, take my money, and have made one big score that day. However, in turn, people would hear about this and not visit their country. So instead, I remained safe, they gladly took the money that I spent, and will continue to reap the profits from tons of people visiting every year. Sometimes you need to think more than right in the moment.

Wow if this is the case I would look to bet on baseball games that have a great chance of rain and getting ppd and bet the under. Good chance they only play a couple of innings before deciding to postpone it and good for your under. What did sbr say about this n how much is your 1 unit bet 1 bill?

Those are what are listed and are standard industry rules. Rule 12.2 clearly makes the wager 'No Action.' Rule 12.15 does not apply as this was not a period wager.
