Think Tampa Bay misses Carl Crawford hahaha?

Carl Crawford is hitting in the low .200's. The Rays replaced him with waiver wire trash and are in a battle for 1st place. Boston is trying to get to .500 and they've already moved the 140 million dollar man to 8th in the batting order.

They might not miss Crawford right now, But ask me after 5 years how this signing worked out........... TB is playing good ball right now............... Lets see where they are when the season ends.

Remember when the Yankees lost Johnny Damon and Hideki Matsui and people said they were screwed?

They give playing time to backup Brett Gardner and bring in Nick Swisher who was hitting like .210 for the Chicago White Sox.

The Redsox are getting horrible return on investment in Crybaby Crawford

his replacement is in a horrible slump right now, of course they miss crawford.. he was their best player. Nick swisher isn't playing for shit right now, does that mean he was a horrible investment?

Nick Swisher wasn't a 140 million dollar savior to the franchise. The yankees rolled the dice and it's worked so far.

Crawford is in a big time market for the first time in his career. Let's see how he adjusts by the end of the season.

After five years you'll already be saying you overpaid for Crawford. Crawford's value will be all but gone after three seasons in his current contract, four at the most. Then you'll be paying out the ass for him for a few more years even after that. Crawford will be great for the Sox for a few years, but that's about it.
