    Texas Rangers +107

Does anyone else like this play?

I know Texas is coming in having lost 3 straight (including 7 of their last 9), and a record of 5-9 on the road...but C.J. Wilson should be money tonight.. though it does worry me that Cruz is out.

Starting for the Mariners is a rookie, Michael Pineda, who has looked very good so far. His only loss (4-1) came @ the Rangers on April 5th. Total is at 6.5... and should be a pitching clinic displayed on both sides.

Thinking about pounding the Rangers... Thoughts?

Pounding the Rangers? I am on the other side with the M's, and I definitely would not get too carried away with either side. I think it's pretty telling when Wilson's the Rangers ace (officially that is) and they're the underdogs to Pineda, who is the Mariner's number two guy (though it's not official). Since last night, the line has continued to move towards the M's...but this should be a close one, as indicated by the game's total...also, when Pineda faced the Rangers, they were only able to hit him twice. Get's easier the more bats logged in against a pitcher, but with that kind of dominance, Pineda has plenty of room to give and still dominate. Will be a great game to watch

    Interesting...

At first glance I thought Rangers, but Pineda seems promising...

Think I might fade C.J. and roll with the rookie

...it's going to be a good game...I think the mariners win it...but I'm not risking too much.

Cj Wilson is not anything special.

Doesnt SO batters at a high rate, walks too many batters, and relies on the run support Texas gives him.

You bring up a good point that I forgot to mention, the Mariners are one of the best teams at making pitches work and they draw a surprising number of walks.
