    One year ago today

Ubaldo was arguably the most dominant pitcher in baseball. He was 5-0 and basically hadn't been touched.

Today, he fell to 0-2 by giving up 4 runs and 6 hits at home vs. the Pirates, with 4 walks and 3 wild pitches in just 4 IP.

WTF happened to this guy? He's either tipping pitches, hurt, or both. Why doesn't Colorado step in and take care of their "ace"?

Perhaps last year was a career year. Perhaps he is more of a .500 pitcher with 4.00 ERA like the earlier part of his career rather than the 19-8, 2.88 ERA of last year. Always a possibility until he proves himself for consecutive years.

    He is still INJ.

They should shelve him for the year.

    It will only get worse.
