    SD at PHILLY

    Latos at Oswalt

I like Philly, just the line going from -122 moving to -107 makes me curious with most of the public on them.

    Any thoughts guys?

Both teams traveled cross country though. Philly played a day game.

No score in the first inning. Oswalt owns the Pads.

i'm thinking padres might be a little tired, played a double-header yesterday, and one of the games went to extras.

I picked Philly for that reason. Oswalt hasn't been on fire, but he has the potential to shut down padres for sure especially after a LONG game and travel yesterday. I just don't see SD making a game out of it today. Philly 8-3.

Padres played doubleheader yesterday and used a ton of relievers in those two games, so they both traveled yesterday. Latos has lost 7 consecutive starts dating back to last year and Oswalt owns San Diego sporting a 10-2 record against them. I also think that Phillies just had a terrible homestand offensively, so the warmer air of SD is what they need to kickstart them.

Oswalt to the bank. The phillies are not living up the expectations with their killer rotation but I believe once one or two pitchers get on track watch out.... phillies will roll
