    Carl Crawford

Fantasy question here, how long do we stick it out with this guy? Is he going to turn it around at some point? Or do u try and deal him for what you can get. Certainly been a horrible two weeks from a fantasy owner and a Red Sox fan perspective?

    Thoughts please

Hes getting used to being in a boston uniform. Once the sox start playing better theres no question he starts turning it around hes too talented and its not like hes on the downside of his career. Only a matter of time.

guy's got a few stolen bases left in him, but at this stage he's no better than present day ricky henderson

I think you have to ride it out. I don't think you can get much for him at this point, and I think he will turn it around.

there's no doubt that he is pressing right now. i'd probably bench him until he has 2 or 3 solid games and then put him back in your lineup.

I only think he is going to get better. I dont think he'll ride this slump much longer. He will turn it around. and I believe it will be soon

He's not on the downside of his career yet, the dude is 29, he's played in nine full seasons.
    Yeesh.

If he was a fat 275 lb power hitter type I might be concerned, but he's one of the top five fastest players in the league, speed never slumps.

Look at Texeiria, he hits .160 for the first six weeks, every year, than from June to Oct. he's like league MVP.

this guy just isn't a fit for this team and they're stuck with him. i'd move him for a right handed bat and pay half the salary to do it...trade him to washington for that catcher they signed last year...

big difference between Crawford & Texeira...

Texeira's career numbers are way higher than Crawford, both OBP & SLG

plus Texeira played college ball...at a smart college where guys like Crawford pick laundry & wash dishes
