    Padres vs Cincy over/under 6.5

I like the over, but the juice is pretty high at -125. Edinson Volquez, who is known to give up runs in bunches vs Latos who is coming off an injury and got rocked pretty bad in spring. Any ideas on this one, over/under or no play? 82 % is on the over as well..

I'd have to lean under here. I like the Padres more then anything though. Petco park is a pitcher friendly park and Latos on the mound makes it that much tougher. Reds pitching is so so, which works for them since they are much more of a offensive team. Not tonight though, I think they struggle.

The total being at 6.5 seems to agree with me.

Latos is a great pitcher, dont get me wrong..but if you look at his second half numbers and his spring numbers, they are not pretty. Plus, he is coming off of an injury, another factor that does not help him succeed against a good offensive team

the only thing that scares me about the over is that it seems too easy...I know Petco Park and I know how offense can be surpressed in the park (I am a big Padres fan and have been to MANY games), but I cant help but think that this game is going over 6.5. Small wager placed on the over, lock and load..BOL.

Volquez usually gives up 4 in the first 2 innings.

bad thing is that Volquez all of a sudden looks like a fkin CY Young candidate..we may have to count on Latos and Padres pen to serve up some runs...

agreed, that line was way too small for the Jays offense..but I guess striking out 15 times and facing the 2010 CY young winner has that affect on the over/under lol. I believe Jays were a very heavy underdog as well.

Pads have baffled me, they come out strong in the 1st inning and now they have forgotten that they need to score one run.. They never gonna score in this game again.... WOW... Its up to Reds to score the 2 runs...

Our last hope will be that Volquez goes 1 inning too long and gets rocked.

That is what it looks like with the way this has been going...but it is the Padres pen and they are incredible. I am just hoping Volquez gets rocked in the bottom of the 7th

looks like it could be close just need 1 more run from the padres for the over. Easier said than done sometimes.
