    Pujols with 12

    Pujols has twelve homers and 28 RBIs. Those are incredible numbers. He is on a pace to hit 108 homers and 251 RBI's. Could that be right? Has anyone ever got off to this good of a start? Check out this link.

    The two most recent to do better that pop to mind are Luis Gonzalez and Ken Griffey Jr.

    Gonzo hit 13 in April 2001 (went homerless last three games of that month). Griffey also had 13 in April 1997 (went homerless in last five games of that month).

    Probably only have to go back to 1969 for this record since 1968 and earlier they played fewer games in the season's first month.

    So, why are we so sure he hasn't taken anything? He probably has at some point, it's easy to beat those tests anyway.
