Trying to figure out Reds/Brew Crew

Seems like a good portion of the public is on the brews. But the odds are sitting the same on the Reds as a favorite. Any ideas on whats going on?

Its going to be a nasty weather type game. Me personally being a Reds fan would lean Reds. The only thing is if Volquez is on his game or not. If he is you will no by the first 3 batters. The Reds have been historically good against Gallardo, although early this Spring he made them look pretty bad. Im going Reds and Under, if the Crew win i think it goes Over.

Bcats, a fair warning. If you read any sabermetric book, they all say that a 10, 20 AB sample is not nearly enough to have any predicative value. Sure, he can get 1-3 his next game and you can say something like, "see, he loves hitting against this guy." But even at 50 AB's or something like that, you just can't use that info for anything meaningful (mainly because those 50 AB's are probably spread out over many seasons, and players change over time). There are stats you can look at, but those kind of stats are more random chance than anything.

Brewers fan here... I typically either bet for the brewers or don't bet at all.. Hard to bet against own team. That being said, Im looking at the brewers and over

Reds were like 11-3 vs the Brewers last year. I know there is a lot of hype around this Brewers team, but Reds are the reigning NL Central champs.
