MySportsbook (SBR rating D-) cancels live in-game NBA wagers after game ends

MySportsbook (SBR rating D-) cancels live in-game NBA wagers after game ends
On November 6th, at the start of the 4th quarter of the NBA Warriors-Nuggets game, a player placed an “in-running” bet risking $1000 to win $833. The winning bet was canceled after the event. MySportsbook first claimed it was a past-posted play, but later blamed the cancellation on offering erroneous betting odds. The sportsbook refused to pay the player, reprice the bet at what it deemed to be a fair market payout, and has not shown why it considers the betting offer to be in error. MySportsbook.com is operated and hosted by parent sportsbook, Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-).

Sportsbook.com has not fixed wager grading errors

Three weeks after the Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D+) Group has been notified of wager grading errors by SBR and players, wagers remain graded incorrectly. Sportsbook.com and sister books voided winning baseball bets when they received incorrect information regarding a change in starting pitchers. Players continuously complain that the sportsbook has not made the effort to look into the wagering dispute. BetUSA (SBR rating D+) appears to be the only exception. Ownership has manually credited players whose wagers were graded wrong by their service provider.

Processing struggle continues for Sportsbook.com Group

Sportsbook.com Group continues to struggle with processing
After nearly two months without a financial processing service, Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D+) was able to process some withdrawals, mostly by bank wire, at the end of March. Since then, SBR has received over 100 emails from additional slow-paid Sportsbook.com players. Management tells SBR that bank wires are no longer the optimal method due to volume restrictions from the processor, and that it plans to add a second wire provider within two weeks. While checks are currently the better option, the book is unable to reduce the amount of past-due withdrawals as word of the problems continue to spread prompting more cashout requests.  SBR is told the Jazette Group plans to send all players an email on behalf of management tonight in an attempt to reassure its users.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

Another player from a Sportingbet Plc sportsbook, MySportsbook(SBR rating D+) reports account balance wiped out. This is the 4th complaint from a large account holder who was told that his balance, which was $11,225, was lost on a virtual horse racing casino game. SBR to inquire with management.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

MySportsbook(SBR rating D+) shorts bettor $700, cites “bonus abuse” as reason. The player has been with the book for three months earning multiple reload bonuses, but has not violated any listed rules. His account activity was subjectively labeled for abusing bonuses. Below is the email to the player from management.

Mr xxxx;
Unfortunately, after the fraud department reviewed your case, it was determine that the account in question was made with the purpose of bonus abusing, therefore, it will remain inactive. According to our records the amount deposited is equal to the amount withdrawn, therefore, no monies are owed in order to offset the funds used via Neteller. Best Regards.

In more severe cases, players who have made a profit wagering saw their winnings confiscated as well. Sportingbet management has taken a hard stance against players who treat their incentives as something more than a novelty. It is evident that management may decide not to pay players after reviewing the bettor’s history over the life of the account.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

Player no longer wants MySportsbook (SBR rating C-) to be his sportsbook. Bettor requests a withdrawal via Firepay from MySportsbook on 6/15/05. Six days after the payout request he is told that his withdrawal will be arriving via FedEx. MySportsbook states that they have been unable to process this payout “due to technical problems”.

Player writes: I am pretty sure the money is on the way I am just annoyed that they sent it FedEx when it was supposed to go to Firepay. It is very clear that the customer service people I talk to have no idea what is going on. I would like a book that I am always 100% positive that when I win I will get paid in no more than 72 hours.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

SBR receives influx of Sportingbet PLC sportsbook complaints. Sportfanatik (SBR rating D+) client reports unjust bonus confiscation. Allstar.com (SBR rating C-) player files complaint over missing check. A SportingbetUSA (SBR rating B-) client claims withdrawn funds left his player account but never reached his Neteller account. A 2nd SportingbetUSA player contacts SBR about unjust bonus confiscation. Mysportsbook.com (SBR rating C-) loses multiple bank wires during processing.
